Dissident's "Springtime" become "Winter of Discontent"

Pat Archbold has a great article on the Era of Dissidence being just about over.  He's a little more optimistic about it than I am.  I do believe that the "Springtime of Vatican II" is thankfully turning into the "Winter of Dissident Discontent", but I have doubts about whether I (at 49) will live long enough to really see it finally die it's much deserved death.

And of course I'm speaking of the Church here in America.  The USCCB has been strong in fighting back against the Obama administration, but at the parish level, there's a longer fight to fight.  We still have some parishes that are in de-facto schism, and even in some of the stronger parishes, the seeds of revolt are still there.  The Universities are overrun with dissent, as are many grade and high schools (like the one in NY(?) where the Jesuit superior thought it okay for a guy to bring a boyfriend to a Prom).

The dissenters have wormed their way into all levels of the Church; it's going to take a spiritual Orkin man to run them all out, and I think it's going to be a long process.
