Campaign Season!

How should a Catholic vote this year? I suppose you could pick any Republican simply based on the reasoning of "Well, at least he ain't a Democrat".

Looks like the Catholic Answers Forum has expressly forbidden any discussion of political candidates : http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=156527

Probably a good thing :oD

Oh, believe me, there is NO option on the Democratic side. The baby killers will never get MY vote.

The only person safe to vote for is the person who gets the least coverage by the mainstream media. If the media doesn't like him he must be good. That is why I am voting for Ron Paul

The only real Christian on the ballot is Mike Huckabee. Mitt Romney and John McCain think we're idiots who can't tell a pander when we see it (I particularly enjoyed Mitt saying "Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior"); Rudy Giuliani sees no problem with a Holocaust against the unborn (not to mention his shameless exploitation of 9/11); and Fred Thompson - well, I'm not exactly sure what he stands for, since his campaign has been all platitude but no substance. Sure, Huck's a little inexperienced in foreign policy, but he's the only one who's willing to call abortion what it is (a genocide), and he's also good on other Catholic issues such as poverty and immigration. Make sure you got to the polls in your state to vote for Mike Huckabee - don't let the big-money candidates to whom Christianity is a campaign slogan win!

Mmmm... Election year time in the ol' U.S.A come November, 2008 I see....let's see.Who do you vote for? You vote for a Republican or a Democrat?...Does'nt matter really, does it, folks....we'll simply put in a Freemason...that's the bottom line...it's what we've always done, isn't it!
[ Actually you guys and gals out there, you could try throwing a spanner in the works by electing that cartoonist (what's his name? you know ..that Paul Nichols guy...some of you know of him...he's a Catholic of the traditional variety)...could be worth a try...you know ...'nothing ventured, nothing gained' as the ol' saying goes.] [How about the "Traditional Catholic Cartoonists Party"? Logo ...suggestions please?
